empcontracting.ca is the original EMP Contracting and started by the CEO Erik M. Parti in the Yukon Territories in 2009. We began with contracts ranging from small bathroom and hotel renovations and worked our way up with apartment contracts and taking part in bridge reconstruction on the Alaska Highway and also hospital construction in the Yukon Territories. Erik spent 5 straight years in the Yukon and still we serve the Yukon with repeat customer business year after year since then.

Starting out with a crew of five and doing contracts for the Liard Development Corporation and also taking on back yard additions and full house building projects that lead him all the way to Whitehorse where empcontracting.ca has now successful work experience and job referral reference.

The work also presented itself to Erik back in Calgary and across Alberta right to London, Ontario and empcontracting.ca has many success stories all the way across Canada in building construction spanning many years and many shifts in the economy.

empcontracting.ca started with Erik Parti in 2009 while he was working in the Yukon on call from the premier of the Yukon for skilled trades people to come work to over come the shortages at that time in civil, residential and commecial trades.

Erik answered the call and left home and succeeded through many challenges including being subjected to construction in the North and delegating forest fires in his first year in the Yukon wich is how empcontracting.ca Inc. Started after a work change plan was made and the secound largest forest fire changed his course of life and he began working around the Yukon learning about the building conditions of the North including heavy snow loads and building code in diveration for that and things that people take for granted or dont' think about such as the effects of mould in the North and also how different environemental factors reflect different building out comes and how we deal with that in Canadian building construction code.

First used in 2009 and first licensed in 2010

The decision to go with EMP Contracting making Erik M. Parti actually the first to use EMP Contracting in a North American business licesne in 2010 in Watson Lake Yukon Terriritoes was made then at that time rights where purchased at that time aswell for empcontracting.ca the now current incorporated name of empcontracting.ca formally EMP Contracting.

Jobs came to us very quickly and with in 60 days of licensing in the Yukon we had a team of 5 and where already pricing jobs for the Liard First Nation Developement Corporation some of our friends with the First Nations of Canada and Erik took time to fill in the needs for manpower working on numourous civil projects as a lead hand and skilled trades person for projects such as the Watson Lake Medical Building Hospital and the Upper Liard Bridge Renovation on the Alaska Highway.

These jobs where surrounded by many other requests for pricing and many many references for jobs well done around the Alaska Highway and Campbell highway in the Yukon and Erik spent 5 years solid working for his friends and customers in the Yukon.
