NECB Part 6: Prescriptive Service Water Heating Standards

6.2.1.1. Scope. This Section applies to the prescriptive requirements for service water heating systems.

6.2.2.1. Equipment Efficiency. Service water heating equipment shall meet the prescribed minimum efficiency ratings.

6.2.3.1. Insulation and Controls. Hot water storage tanks and piping shall be insulated, and automatic controls shall be provided to minimize heat loss.
